Il trittico
Il trittico (The Triptych) is a set of three individual
one-act operas:
Il tabarro.,
Suor Angelica., and
Gianni Schicchi.
Although originally intended by the composer to be performed together as
a single program, the three operas of Il trittico are not closely
interrelated, and they are very often presented individually, or paired with
other short operas. The information presented here refers to
Il trittico as a whole. Please refer to the individual opera headings
for information specific to each of the three parts.
